Short title and commencement
1. (i) These rules may be called the Environment (Protection) Second Amendment Rules, 2019.

(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Definitions
2. In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) "Act" means the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986);
