A change to this document has been announced. The effect of the change is to specify an effective date of June 28, 2020 for recent amendments that in particular a) add new rights for employees who are pregnant or breastfeeding, b) update rights to leave for ante-natal and pre-adoption appointments and for parental leave, and c) require employers to provide facilities for breastfeeding in the workplace. The first effective date of the document that makes the change is June 16, 2020. More information about the change, including any additional effective dates, is available here.
